IC5146

The photometric catalogue used for IC5146 in Mayne et al. (2007) comes from Herbig & Dahm (2002). This membership catalogue is the result of a wide field Hα survey. We fitted an empirical isochrone and compared it to other clusters using the relative age ladder. This results in Mayne et al (2007) deriving an age of 1Myr for IC5146. The photometry of this region also contains a promising candidate for an R-C gap, of the size we would expect for a cluster younger than 1Myr.
