Torus Sample Input Files

Torus uses a parameter file to determine which model to run and what values are being used for adjustable parameters. This page contains some example "parameters.dat" files which are used in the test suite that torus runs on a nightly basis. To save a file, right click and select "Save Linked File As...".

The HII40 Lexington Benchmark
This benchmark uses the photoionization routines in torus. There are two versions, one of which is domain decomposed using MPI.

single domain version: parameters.dat

domain decomposed version: parameters.dat

The Sod Shock Tube Test
A one dimensional hydrodynamics model. All hydrodynamics models are domain decomposed.

The Self Gravity Test
This is a three dimensional self-gravity calculation.

The Image Test
This calculation generates a synthetic image of a cylinder of material surrounded by what is effectively a vacuum.

The Dusty Disc Benchmark
This is the dusty disc benchmark of Pascucci et al., 2000, A&A, 417, 793.

The Molecular Physics Benchmark
This model uses the molecular physics modules.
