Current ProjectsGALFA-HII am a core member of the Galactic Arecibo L-Band Feed Array HI surveys being conducted with the NAIC 305-metre telescope in Puerto Rico. We have been taking data since the summer of 2005 and have surveyed somewhere in the neighbourhood of 6000 hours' worth of sky as of October 2009! Synthetic Galactic Plane SurveysSince joining Exeter's Astrophysics Group, I've become involved in an effort to produce realistic synthetic data cubes akin to what radio astronomers generate, but from galaxy simulations. FCRAO Galactic Plane SurveysI am working on creating IGPS-standard datacubes of Outer Galaxy CO observations. |
