David Acreman

I am currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Computer Science department at the University of Exeter. Prior to joining Computer Science I was a member of the astrophysics group. The Astrophysics group focusses on studying star and planet formation, and my own work uses numerical modelling techniques, primarily the TORUS code. A list of my astrophysics publications can be found ADS. The images below show three synthetic Galactic plane surveys made with TORUS, and corresponding observations from the Canadian Galactic Plane Survey. See this paper for more details.
