The first astronomical images were taken with the new system! The camera is the SBIG
CCD and filter wheel from the previous system. The dome is now synced to rotate
following the telescope movement.

Alignment, 9th July 2015
The Astrophysics mount is installed in the dome. It sits on a purpose-built flat plate
made by the workshop. This mount should give much better tracking stability than
previously and that can be improved further by guiding.

The 14″ Celestron Edge HD is installed in the dome. The optical tube is HUGE and each
of the three counterweights is 18lb so we have to watch our heads from now on.
